GJA 567D

Car No. 00173
GJA 567D is car number 173 and is documented on the RSSOC Register. The car was purchased from a well known and active Club member who had maintained the car to a very high standard with mechanicals and engine rebuild by Iain Daniels making it an excellent driving example as well as one of the most striking in appearance. GJA then underwent further work including instrumentation, an overdrive/ transmission rebuild, and a paint refinish in the previous MGA colour. The interior which apart from the dash is largely original is in fantastic condition. There are full records of all the work undertaken recently as well as all the old bills/receipts for the previous 3 owners. A wad of old MOT’s, old photos and even a green log book together with a copy of the rare Owners Handbook and engine workshop manual all come with the car. In the lovely boot you will find the jack with handle, tool roll and spare wheel. GJA is used for shows and events and often undertakes our winding 60 mile test round road trip without effort. The coupe will also cruise comfortably for long periods on main roads at 70mph if required. These are now important cars in respect to our motoring heritage and typify what was good in respect to design and performance back in the mid 60’s. The exhaust note from the triple SU Straight Six engine on song is something you will not forget.
